Call for Papers

The emergence of Internet Technology as a ubiquitous platform for innovations has laid the foundation for the rapid growth of the Information. Side-by-side, the use of mobile and wireless devices such as PDA, laptop, and cell phones for accessing the Internet has paved the ways for related technologies to flourish through recent developments. In addition, the popularity of Internet Technology is promoting better integration of the digital world with physical environment.

The 6th International Conference on Internet Services Technology and Information Engineering 2018 (ISTIE 2018) will be held on 30 June – 01 July 2018 in the Radisson Golf & Convention Center – Batam , Indonesia.

The ISTIE has long history that started on the 1st ISTIE 2013 in Bogor that attracts more than 80 papers from 12 countries with more than 90 participants. The 2nd ISTIE 2014 in Bali attracts more than 105 papers from 18 countries with more than 112 participants. The 3rd ISTIE 2015 in Bali attracts more than 115 papers from 19 countries with more than 129 participants. The 4th ISTIE 2016 in Bali attracts more than 102 papers from 15 countries with more than 117 participants. The 5th ISTIE 2017 in Bali attracts more than 107 papers from 15 countries with more than 121 participants.

The purpose of the ISTIE 2018 is to promote discussion and interaction among academics, researchers and professionals in the field of Internet technologies and Information Engineering.

Internet Services Technologies will require a new approach to fitting technology to our lives. The advent of new technology devices, and the seamless connectivity between these devices, are enabling new opportunities for a user to perform their operation all the time and everywhere. The internet services provided seamlessly connected devices are ranging from mobile handset to wearable computers. Also, it is expected that these devices will become so pervasive that they will be embedded in the surrounding physical environment, and transparent and invisible to a user. Such devices, whether carried on by people or embedded into other systems, will constitute a global internet working infrastructure and likely to provide a new level of openness and dynamics. Recent advances in electronic and computer technologies have paved the way for the proliferation of Internet Services Technology and innovative applications that incorporate these technologies.

This conference provides an international forum for the presentation and showcase of recent advances on various aspects of ubiquitous computing. It will reflect the state-of-the-art of the computational methods, involving theory, algorithm, numerical simulation, error and uncertainty analysis and/or novel application of new processing techniques in engineering, science, and other disciplines related to ubiquitous computing. In this conference, several topics on the specific themes for intensive discussions are also planned according to the areas of interest.
